C.Bennett is proud to be showcasing his latest body of work entitled "Slice of life" at the Famous World Market Center in Las Vegas this week.
C.Bennett: "After a long month in the studio I am overly excited to showcase my latest series in such an amazing and prestigious Venue. With over 1,500 vendors and 50,000 attendees at the convention it’s a sure thing that my work will be view by thousands.
What is the “Slice of Life” series about and what does it mean to you?
C.Bennett: this series was really fun and amusing for me. Its full of lightheartedness and simplicity yet has a lot of personal meaning to who I am and why I carry myself with such cheerfulness and joy. I use a mix media approach using a vibrant & stimulating color palette mixed with subject matter that represents myself. Lots of my subject matter for this series consisted of animal, characters, pianos and trees all in turn represent myself & how I see the world around me today.
How does it feel to showcasing at such a world renowned Venue where so many people will come in contact with your work?
C.Bennett: WoW…. It feels amazing! It’s really indescribable. Since day one I’ve always wanted to connect with people and make them smile just a little bit through my art. This is a huge opportunity for me to do just that on an enormous scale. There’s really no better feeling for me than connecting with someone giving them an insight to the positive and lively person I am solely through the color, texture, feel and message of my art. Being such a fresh new face to art scene its really a great experience and opportunity for me to get outside my typical crowd and interact with such a large and diverse group of viewer. I have to give a big thanks to all my supports but especially to my #1 Ryan Mahoney Sponsorship Manager at World Market Center Las Vegas for making this dream possible.
